Candace A. “Candy” Henderson was a nurse
Candace A. “Candy” Henderson, age 78, of Ada, passed away on Sunday, November 19, 2023 at Mercy Health-St. Rita’s Medical Center, Lima.
She was born on October 5, 1945 in Harrisburg, PA to the late Austin and Alice (Roberts) Neff. On March 4, 1972 Candy married George H. Henderson and he survives in Ada.
Candy retired as a nurse and assistant in the Healthcare field. She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church, Findlay.
She is also survived by a son, Donald (LeeAnn) Havird of Sanford, FL; a daughter, Lynn (George) Coleman of Mesa, AZ; a step son, Richard Henderson of CA; seven grandchildren, three step grandchildren and two step great grandchildren; two brothers: Robert (Bonnie) Neff of Beverly Hills, FL and Martin Neff of Inverness, FL; and a sister, Kathy (Bill) Bliven of CA.
She was preceded in death by a step son, Robert Henderson; a step daughter, Doretta Senart; a brother, Bill Neff; and a sister, Sharon.
It was her wish to be cremated. Burial of ashes will be in the Dayton National Cemetery.
