Colonel Robert Stull was a U.S. Army veteran
Colonel Robert Stull, age 73, of Ada, passed away on Wednesday, April 19, 2023, at 10:52 PM at Mercy Health-St. Rita’s Medical Center, Lima.
He was born on July 21, 1949, in Lima, Ohio to the late William Vernon and Catherine Rose (Gottfried) Stull. On June 28, 1969 Robert married Marsha J. Casper and she survives in Ada.
Also surviving are his children: Brian (Mandy) Stull of Cypress, TX and Tina Minich of Ada; stepdaughter, Amy (John) Thompson of Las Vegas, NV; seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; a brother, William Richard Stull of Chester, SC; and a sister-in-law, Joanna Casper of Bluffton.
Robert retired from Rockwell-Meritor of Kenton. He attended the Sugar Grove United Methodist Church, Ada. Robert was a U.S. Army veteran who served from August 1969 to August 1971. He enjoyed playing golf and driving his golf cart, lawn mowing, and going out to eat. Robert loved spending time with his family and friends.
It was his wish to be cremated. A celebration of life will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 23, 2023, at the Ada VFW Post #9381, 2147 State Route 235, Ada (hall side) with Pastor Eric Wilkins officiating and military honors conducted by the Ada VFW Post #9381 Honor Guard.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Hardin County Veterans.
