Patsy Marie Fancher was a homemaker and farmer
Patsy Marie Fancher, age 86, of Ada, passed away on Sunday, November 13, 2022, at 11:34 p.m. at her residence.
She was born on November 5, 1936, in Hardin County, Ohio to the late Eldon and Ruth (Rainsburg) Decker. On January 21, 1956, Patsy married Jackie E. “Jack” Fancher, who preceded her in death on January 4, 2017.
Patsy is survived by her two daughters: Kathleen (John) DeRosa of Leesburg, FL, and Wilma (Bill) Harris of Ada; five grandchildren: Casandra (Joe) Bennett, Candice Vang, Bryan Kent, Shannon Simon, and Jeremy Park; and nine great grandchildren; a stepbrother, Greg (Ellie) Long of Newnan, GA; and two stepsisters: Jackie Ackerman of Harrod, and Jan (Glen) Williams of Lima.
She was preceded in death by a great grandson; a sister, Betty Fisher; and a stepsister, Joan Owen.
Patsy was a homemaker and farmer. She was a member of the Bethel Church of Christ, Ada. She and her husband, Jack wintered at Hawthorne in Leesburg, Florida for many years. Patsy loved flowers and tending them, she enjoyed playing euchre with her friends at Beatitudes and the bowling alley. She loved being with her family and always had time for her grandchildren.
Funeral services will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 16, 2022, at Hanson-Neely-Allison Funeral & Cremation Services, Ada. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Ada.
Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 15, 2022, at Hanson-Neely-Allison Funeral & Cremation Services, Ada and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
