The Ada Public Library's summer reading program hasn't even started yet, but material circulation has already received a big bump, according to Rhett Grant and Chloe Rieder.

Grant, the library director, and Reider, youth services librarian, have some of the year's busiest weeks ahead of them with a flock of activities for readers in June and July. The big summer reading program kick-off event is at 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 11 and will include:

  • Bagpipers
  • 4-H animals
  • The Steelions band performance
