Ruby Jane Nichols was a homemaker
Ruby Jane Nichols, age 88, of Alger, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, June 28, 2022, at the Blanchard House, Kenton.
She was born on March 18, 1934, in Hardin County, Ohio to the late Eddie and Susie (Allen) Poe. Ruby married Bud Nichols and he preceded her in death.
Ruby is survived by two sons: Ronald Nichols of Arlington, and Randy Nichols of Portland, OR; three daughters: Esther Fay of Portland, OR, Cathy Anspach of Ada and Sharon Emerich of Quincy; twelve grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren; two brothers: John Poe of Lima, Carl Poe of Ada; and three sisters: Dorothy Garver of Kentucky, Marcia Phillips of Kenton and Mary Daniels of Spencerville.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Nancy Nichols; a son, Danny Joe Nichols; four brothers; and six sisters.
Ruby was a homemaker. She attended the Quickstep Pentecostal Church of God, Alger.
Funeral services will begin at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 2, 2022, at Hanson-Neely-Allison Funeral & Cremation Services, Alger with Rev. James Gatchell officiating. Burial will be in Preston Cemetery, Alger.
Friends may call two hours prior to the service on Saturday, July 2, 2022, from 10:00 a.m-12:00 p.m. at Hanson-Neely-Allison Funeral & Cremation Services, Alger.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Diabetes Association.
