ARLINGTON - The Ada boys golf team ended its season by finishing 12th in the 13-team Div. III sectional tournament at Arlington's Sycamore Springs Golf Course Thursday.
The top three teams and top three individuals not from qualifying teams advanced to compete at the Div. III districts October 3.
Van Buren won the sectional event with 349 strokes, followed closely by Allen East (350) and Bluffton (357).
Zach Miller of Allen East was sectional champion with a score of 38-39=77. A.J. Overmyer of VB tied with Ethan Tanner of fourth-place Carey for tournament second medalist honors, with each posting rounds of 81.

Ada and Liberty Township and neighboring municipal governments will receive funds from the Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation (BWC) as part of the agency’s rollout this week of $172 million in dividend checks to Ohio’s public employers.
FROM BLUFFTON ICON – The Bluffton community’s 16th annual Fall Festival, with many family-oriented activities, takes place throughout the community on Saturday, Sept. 28, from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m.
New this year, Bluffton Family Recreation will host a “Kickoff Event” on Friday, Sept. 27, beginning at 5 p.m.
