Midnight Thursday showing for "The Dark Knight Rises" at Ada Theatre

Holy Batman!  a dark knight will rise in Ada at midnight, Thursday (July 19).

"The Dark KnIght Rises" (PG-13)  has a midnight premier showing at the Ada Theatre, according to James Curliss of the theatre.

Regular show times follow:
• Friday and Saturday 7 and 10:05 p.m.

• Saturday and Sunday matinee at 3:30 p.m.

• Sunday ~ Thursday at 7 p.m.

Apollo board actions on legislation affecting Ada voters

Apollo Career Center's board of education will act on legislation at its July 23 to place a tax levy on the Nov. 6 ballot. Voters in the Ada school district will have the levy on their ballot.

Can you believe it? Ada school opens in one month

It's mid-July, but things are starting to take place at the Ada Schools in anticipation of the 2012-13 school year...one month away.

Only 10 points separated the Ada/Lost Creek swim team from a second place finish in the Western Ohio Aquatics League championship meet on July 13-14 in Blufton.
