Sumner is ranked No. 5 nationally at 149 pounds and finished the abbreviated 2021 season with a perfect 4-0 record

Ada High School graduate Chase Sumner, an Ohio Northern sophomore, along with teammate Ben DePrest (Louisville, Ky./Saint Xavier) were named All-Ohio Athletic Conference in wrestling for the 2020-21 season in voting conducted by the league's eight head coaches.

Sumner is ranked No. 5 nationally at 149 pounds and finished the abbreviated 2021 season with a perfect 4-0 record. He also had two pins and a tech fall in those four victories.

He is 41-6 with 13 pins and 4 tech falls in his two seasons as a Polar Bear.

DePrest had a breakout year in 2021, going 3-1 with one pin and a major decision at heavyweight after wrestling at 184 and 197 as a freshman a year ago.

Hardin County 4-H is ready to kick off the 2021 season with in-person club meetings. 

Ohio State University Extension has released that 4-H clubs may meet in person in 2021 if they follow all the health guidelines from both OSU and their local county health department. 

These guidelines include:
• All members, volunteers, and guests wear masks at all times (indoors and outdoors)

Due to increased vaccine supply within the state of Ohio, OhioHealth will hold a COVID-19 vaccine clinic on Saturday, March 6 with over 250 vaccine appointments available. 

The clinic will be held at the OhioHealth Physician Group Primary Care office in Kenton at 75 Washington Blvd,, Suite 103, in the medical building. This clinic is being held in addition to the weekday appointments. 

People 65 and older, or with qualifying medical conditions, can schedule by calling the OhioHealth COVID-19 Vaccine Hotline weekdays 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at (614) 533.6999 or through OhioHealth MyChart if they have been notified.

Always Right Driving School, 205  N. High St., Columbus Grove, announces a week night driver’s education series of classes in March in Columbus Grove.

Classes are from 5 to 9:10 p.m. 

The schedule follows: March 22, 23, 24, 29, 30, 31.
