Beatitudes, 210 N. Main St., Ada, reopened for business today (Thursday, March 4) after an electrical manfunction resulted in a fire call to Ada, Kenton, LaFayette and Dunkirk. Click here for the story. It appears that no damage was done to the building.
Donald Waters, Ada High School senior, is the Mid-Ohio Energy Cooperative Ada March student of the month.

Ada’s newest fire truck was called into action for the first time today as an apparent electrical malfunction in the Beatitudes building, 210 N. Main St., put a scare into Main Street.
Ada-Liberty Township fire department received the call at 1:03 p.m.
According to Deb Curlis, Beatitudes store manager, in the building at the time told The Icon, “There were no flames and no smoke coming out of the roof, but it appeared that some smoke was coming from some of the ceiling tiles inside the building.”
Curlis said that she along with one customer and three Beatitude volunteers were in the building at the time.
