Dear Ada Icon,
I am writing to urge your readers to consider voting for Sean Beck for Ada Village Council on November 2nd. I have known Sean for a few years now, both when he was a student at ONU, and now as a leader in the community. This intelligent, outgoing, and sincere young man has everything that Ada needs in a village council member. He cares for our community, and has expressed a passion for bringing new ideas to Council and to the village at large. I am particularly interested in his ideas to bring more engagement between the village and the community, as well as further transparency within village governmental affairs. He is also in favor of term limits for elected village officials, which will encourage newer and younger people to get involved in village politics.
Sean is a proven leader. During his time as a student here at ONU, he was involved in many student organizations, and was well liked and respected on campus. He has also shown great leadership within the Civil Air Patrol--spearheading efforts to help that organization thrive over the past few years.
Next week, when you go to the polls, cast your vote for a bright future for our village by voting for Sean Beck for council! He represents a new perspective on how the village can be run, and is a great candidate to help us navigate the years ahead.
