Gloria J. Rock, age 76, passed away on Friday, October 15, 2021, with her husband by her side.
She was born on April 30, 1945 in LaPorte, Indiana to the late Matthew Joseph “Richard” and Thelma (Lovely) Dyer. On May 18, 1963 Gloria married the love of her life, Robert E. Rock, Sr. and he survives in Alger.
Gloria was a homemaker. She was a member of the Pentecostal Church of God. Also surviving are her two daughters: Ronda (John) Wyomic of Ada and Roberta (Frank) Karfit; eight grandchildren and ten great grandchildren; a brother, Jerry Dyer of Michigan; and three sisters: Rachel Boutwell of Kenton, Rebekka (Frank) Grizzle of Florida and Wonnie Dyer of Findlay.
She was preceded in death by three sons: Robert Rock, Jr, Ronald Rock and Randall Rock; and five brothers.
Funeral services will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 21, 2021 at Hanson-Neely-Allison Funeral & Cremation Services, Alger with Pastor Donald Holbrook officiating. Burial will be in Preston Cemetery, Alger. The funeral service for Gloria will be live streamed on the Hanson-Neely-Allison Funeral & Cremation Services Facebook Page beginning at 1:00 PM on Thursday, October 21st.
Friends may call from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at Hanson-Neely-Allison Funeral & Cremation Services, Alger and one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Thursday.
