Don't say that it will snow 28 times this winter

If so, we are in for 28 snowfalls during the winter of 2012-13. (On Oct. 28 was recorded 1.1 inches of snow.) Guy Verhoff, Pandora weather observer, didn't confirm that fact, but did provide a summary of the October weather. Here goes:

The high temperature of October was 78 degrees on Oct. 24. The low was 33 degrees on Oct. 11 and Oct. 30. The average October 2012 daily temperature was 52 degrees. The normal average temperature for October is 52.1 degrees.
