Students Learn Home Alone Safety & More
Ohio State University Extension, Hardin County will offer two Safe Sitter® classes for young teens, grades 4-8, June 8, 2023 from 9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. and July 13 from 9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. at the OSU Extension Office, 1021 West Lima Street, Suite 103, Kenton, OH 43326. Registration deadlines are June 2 for the June 8 class and July 7 for the July 13 class.
More than 775,000 young teens have graduated from the medically-accurate program which teaches how, why, and where injuries happen so they can be prevented. The cost of the course is $35 per teen and includes all materials, lunch, and snacks. Partial scholarships are available.
