Richland Manor scores high in resident satisfaction survey

Richland Manor, a Trilogy Health Services community located near Ada on Swaney Road in Richland Township, and provider of senior living and health services, recently received high marks in resident satisfaction as a result of statewide surveys conducted by the Ohio Department of Aging (ODA).
The health campus scored a 91.99 in overall resident satisfaction, with the statewide average being 87.1.

ONU undergraduate commencement information and schedule set

The 2012 Ohio Northern University commencement weekend schedule is set. The schedule follows:

Main Street Ada is turning green. The streetscape trees have leafs and its a certain sign that spring is here.

John Klingler 1921-2012

John M. Klingler, 90, died at 10:58 a.m., April 21, 2012, at Primrose Retirement Community.

He was born June 24, 1921, near Beaverdam, to Freeman and Pearl (Thomas) Klingler. On September 14, 1945, he married Virginia Schwinn, who preceded him in death on March 5, 2011.

Patricia Ann Watkins, 1946-2012

Patricia Ann Watkins, 66, died at 9:34 p.m. April 20, 2012, at Ohio State University Medical Center, Columbus.

She was born Jan. 30, 1946, in Harlan County, Ky., to Rossevelt and Louise Jones Crider, who preceded her in death. On April 20, 1985, she married Raymond Richard Watkins Sr., who survives in Ada.

Patricia participated in the family business, 1st Class Siding and Windows. She attended Crossroads Church of God, Lima. She was a member of Reunion Baptist Church, Knoxville, Tenn. Her favorite things to do were spending time with family, playing bingo and working in her flower gardens, and she loved going dancing.
