Division III soccer pairing were set on Sunday. Here's where Ada boys and girls teams are placed.
The Ada boys soccer team was seeded fourth at the 12-team Div. III sectional drawing. Ada (8-7) will host 12th seed Otsego Wednesday, October 21 in the tournament.
The winner will face Mansfield Christian Saturday, Oct. 24. The victor in that game will likely face unbeaten top seed Bluffton (12-0-2) Wednesday, Oct. 28 in the district semifinals.
Ada girl kickers
Ada girls soccer team was seeded 10th at the 11-team Bluffton Div. III sectional drawing. Ada (3-11) will play at fourth-seeded Mansfield Christian in the first round Monday, October 20 at 5 p.m.
The Bulldog/MC winner will then visit Bluffton (11-2-1) Thursday, Oct. 22, at 5 p.m. The victor advances to the Bluffton district semifinals.
Liberty-Benton (10-2-2) was voted the top seed in the district. L-B will host the Upper Sandusky/Willard winner in round two Oct. 22.
The district finals will be Oct. 31 at 1 p.m. in Bluffton.
Ada spikers
The Ada volleyball team found out their opponent at the 10-team Div. IV Bluffton super sectional drawing.
Ada (8-10) received a first round bye and will visit Lima Temple Christian (12-7) in the sectional finals Thursday, October 22.
The Lady Bulldog/Pioneer winner will likely take on top-seeded MAC power New Bremen (19-1) in the distict semifinals.
NB will play the Ridgemont (2-12)/Upper Scioto Valley (1-12) winner in the sectional finals.
The winner goes on to the Bluffton district semis, most likely against second seed New Knoxville (16-0).
