Hardin County extension office has reopened with restrictions on June 17.
In order to follow university health and safety protocols, the Hardin County office staff have created the following plan to open for in-person services:
The office will be open Monday – Friday from 8 to 9 a.m. for the at-risk population, such as the elderly and immunocompromised.
The office will open to the general public from 9 a.m.-12 p.m. and 1-3:30 p.m.
A limited staff will be available during these hours each day, as the majority continue to telework to limit interaction and continue social distancing.
In order to receive the best service, please call ahead to make an appointment with our staff.
Walk-in clients may need to wait outside of our office until a staff person becomes available. Walk-ins will be taken for each program area on the following days:
4-H Youth Development – Monday, Tuesday, Friday
Agriculture & Natural Resources – Wednesday
Family & Consumer Sciences – Thursday, Friday
As per OSU policy, all visitors to our office will be asked to wear a mask, sanitize upon entry, and follow social distancing protocols. Masks will be available at the door for clients who do not have one.
Curbside pick-up will be available for all OSU Extension Publications, including fact sheets, plat maps, and 4-H project books. Call 419-674-2297 to place your order and designate a time for pick-up.
Staff members are available for appointments any day of the week. To make an appointment, contact the staff member you need directly:
