Ada's newest business - ribbon cutting

Ada's newest business is FABrehab Services, a physical therapy clinic, located in Community Health Professionals, 1200 S. Main St., Ada. Members of the Ada Area Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting at the business last week. The business has served Ada and surrounding communities for the past five years and now brings outpatient physical therapy services to Ada. FABrehab Services phone number is 567-211-1021. Ada contractor shares five things you can do to keep utility costs low

No one is arguing that this winter has been the worst experienced since The Great Blizzard of 1978, and quite possibly, one of the most costly for Ada village area residents.

Taxing questions? Answers on village tax forms from Central Collection Agency

The Village of Ada uses the services of Central Collection Agency (also known as CCA) Division of Taxation for filing and payment of Village Income taxes. As a service to its customers, CCA schedules on site taxpayer assistance.

This year, auditors from CCA will be available at the Ada Depot on Wednesday, April 2, from 4 to 7 p.m., and Saturday, April 12, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. At these times, auditors will be able to assist taxpayers with their Village of Ada income tax form preparations.

ONU presents Haitian violinist in Presser Hall March 31

The Ohio Northern University Music Department presents a performance by Haitian violinist Romel Joseph in Snyder Recitial Hall in Presser Hall on Monday, March 31, at 8 p.m.

Joseph, a blind Juilliard-trained classical violinist, will perform with his children, Victoria and Bradley Joseph, who are formally trained musicians and will accompany him on the viola and piano.

Student named Notre Dame University Presidential Fellow

Ohio Northern University student Andrea Kalchik, a senior psychology major from Zanesville, Ohio, has been awarded a University Presidential Fellowship from the University of Notre Dame.

Kalchik was one of 25 selected for the fellowship in a University-wide competition. Kalchik will be pursuing a doctoral degree in psychology at the University of Notre Dame in the Cognition, Brain and Behavior Area. She will be researching memory and forgetting with Dr. G.A. Radvansky.

Say goodbye to March weather
