Living a healthy lifestyle seems to be getting more popular these days, especially now during the current pandemic in which we are living. Exercising and eating a balanced diet are just two pieces of a healthy lifestyle. When striving to eat a balanced diet, it is vital to consume foods containing antioxidants.
Meri Skilliter, Ada school superintendent, updated the community following the first full week of classes in 2021. Here is a portion of that message from the school webisite follows:
We made it through our first regular week of classes with almost all of our staff and students in the building.
We would like to continue this model for the rest of the year. In order to give ourselves the best shot at making that wish a reality, we really need to remain vigilant and consistent on our safeguards and prevention.
We remind our students about the coronavirus safety protocols, primarily monitoring symptoms masking, social distancing and hand washing.

Ohio Northern University’s James Lehr Kennedy Engineering Building was awarded Education Design Showcase’s 2020 grand prize for its academic functionality and structural ingenuity.
“Ohio Northern University understood the importance of using the building to recruit and retain students, increase engineering laboratory space, promote the visibility of engineering on campus and encourage faculty-student collaboration,” the award committee explains.

The Ohio Northern women's basketball team went ice-cold in the third quarter and had a 4:20 scoring drought in the fourth quarter, yet still had a chance to win late in a 61-59 season-opening loss to Wilmington at the ONU Sports Center.
"I'm so proud of the way we kept fighting all night," first-year ONU head coach Mark Huelsman said after his first game at the helm of the Polar Bears. "We have not played a basketball game in more than 300 days. We looked good at times and rusty at other times, but we kept battling and playing hard and had a chance at the end."
