Ada-Liberty Township fire chief, Jay Epley, posted a YouTube video to area voters to support the Nov. 6 fire levy.
He said that the Nov. 6 ballot will find a 1 mill, five-year tax levy to replace the department’s oldest truck, which equates to $100 a year for five years on property with an assessed valuation of $100,000.

Jon Cross, president and CEO of the Hardin County Chamber and Business Alliance, speaks at a forum about the opioid crisis.
During the meeting Thursday night in Dicke Hall, Cross and two other business leaders discussed how illicit drugs affect business.
They noted that with the current high employment rate, business and industry have a more difficult time finding employees. Drug tests are required by many human resource personnel and employment agencies. Some test-takers fail, making hiring even more arduous.
Junior outside hitter McKenna Jordan has been tabbed the OAC Volleyball Athlete of the Week.
Jordan helped guide the Polar Bears to a pivotal 3-1 conference win over Otterbein on Tuesday and a tight-knit 3-2 victory over Mount Union on Saturday. With the victories, Ohio Northern claimed a share of its third consecutive OAC Regular Season title and captured the top-seed in the OAC Tournament.
