Susan (center) co-owner of Viva Maria, Ada, and her serving crew are preparing for the “All Out for United Way” on Tuesday, Nov. 13, from 4-9:30 p.m. They will be assisted by Ohio Northern’s lacrosse team that evening. Viva Maria will give a portion of their proceeds that evening to the United Way of Hardin County. Funds will benefit 21 partner agencies.

Hundreds of people attended the open house for Crimson Lane wedding and event center on Saturday afternoon. The new multimillion dollar facility is a dream come true for brides and grooms...and for the owners, Mike and Jody Willeke.
Incredibly, 45 weddings already have been booked. The Willekes did their homework, determining that a weddings venue is needed in the area. Shortly after construction began last spring, future brides began to reserve dates for their dream wedding at Crimson Lane.

The standing room only audience gave the Ada Varsity Singers a standing ovation at the conclusion of their exhibition performance on Saturday in the school auditorium.
For the 41st consecutive year, Ada hosted its Music Feast, which is an invitational competition of show choirs from nine schools in Ohio and Michigan.
The Varsity Singers involve one in five Ada High School students with 28 singer/dancers and a 13-member band assisted by 6 crew members. They are under the direction of Scott Henning, vocal music director, and Jonathan Lischak, director of instrumental music.
WESTERVILLE — Top-seeded Otterbein scored on a rebound just 57 seconds into overtime to edge the second-seeded Ohio Northern women's soccer team 1-0 in the finals of the Ohio Athletic Conference Tournament Saturday night at Memorial Stadium.
The Polar Bears (14-4-1 overall) must now wait until Monday's NCAA III selection show to find out if their season will continue in the NCAA Tournament.
ONU was playing in its fourth consecutive trip to the tournament finals, winning the title last season.
The Cardinals (16-2-1) won their sixth OAC Tournament.
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - Senior Kierra Watson and junior Lauren Halle each registered multiple individual top-10 efforts Saturday as the Ohio Northern women's swimming and diving program concluded its weekend at the Calvin (Mich.) Invitational in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
The Polar Bears ended fifth overall in the five-team meet after posting 384.5 team points over the two-day event. No. 16-ranked Calvin won the meet with 964.5 points while Albion (Mich.), Carthage (Wisc.), and Hope (Mich.) ended second-through-fourth with 819.5, 777.5, and 520 points, respectively.
