A team of Ohio Northern students, including three Ada High School grads, won a position paper award for a project they developed for representing the delegation of Belgium at the recent American Model United Nations Conference in Chicago. Local students included Blaine Dearth, Mara Guyton, and Sarah Hasan.

The Harlem Globetrotters are coming to Ohio Northern Sports Center on Monday, Jan. 28, 2019 as part of their 2019 Fan Powered World Tour. Tickets are $17-$197.

 

Prior to every performance, fans can purchase a ticket to Magic Pass, the Globetrotters' pregame event. Magic Pass gives fans access to the stars of the team, an opportunity to learn tricks, shoot hoops and take pictures on the court. After each game, fans can participate in a free autograph session.

The Ohio Northern women's basketball program came back from a 12-point halftime deficit, outscoring the visiting Wilmington Quakers 45-25 in the second half to knock off their OAC visitors 75-67 on Wednesday in Ada.

 

The Polar Bears move to 6-1 overall and 1-1 in the Ohio Athletic Conference this season. Meanwhile, the Quakers drop to 4-3 overall and 0-2 in league play.
