LEXINGTON, Va. — The Ohio Northern wrestling program wrapped up their 2018 slate with three dual victories Monday, December 17, rolling past McDaniel (Md.), Averett (Va.), and Southern Virginia at the annual Washington & Lee (Va.) Duals in Lexington, Va.

The Polar Bears claimed the final five bouts in their opening match to capture a 33-12 victory over McDaniel. Northern then captured a 32-16 come-from-behind victory over Averett due to four successive wins in the upper-weight classes after trailing 16-10 through six weights. ONU capped their stay at the dual invitational with a rousing 34-9 win over Southern Virginia.

The Inn at ONU will present the zany Christmas comedy, “Sorry, Wrong Chimney,” as the feature of a dinner theatre on Thursday and Friday, Dec. 20 and 21.

The evening will begin with a buffet at 6:15 p.m. followed by the play at 7:30 p.m. There will be a dessert buffet during the show’s intermission.

Tickets are $45 per person. Reservations may be made by calling The Inn at 419-772-2500.

The light-hearted comedy of characters full of mistaken identities was written by Leo W. Sears and Jack Sharkey.

Problem caused by main water break at SR 81 and Johnson

By Monty Siekerman
The Village of Ada boil advisory, affecting 122 properties in the northeast section of the town, may be lifted Wednesday or Thursday.

A main water line broke at the intersection of State Route 81 and North Johnson Street causing the boil advisory to about one tenth of the properties in town.

The line has been repaired by village employees and on Tuesday a sample of the water was taken to Lima for testing. The village will receive a report on Wednesday or Thursday about if the water now meets EPA standards.
