Bulldog netters swept at traditional power

LEXINGTON - The visiting Ada tennis team lost at 2018 state semifinalist Lexington by a 5-0 count Saturday.
The Bulldog netters dropped to 5-2 with the defeat, while Lexington improved to 2-0 with the win.
Bulldog aces Cade Mullins and Isaac Spar each suffered their first singles losses of the season to fall to 5-1 at first and second singles, respectively.
Miranda Wills dropped to 5-2 this spring with a tough loss at third singles.
Gabe Hasan and Dexter Woods also played a close match at second doubles before falling 7-6, 7-5.

2) Ryan Mercurio (L) def. Isaac Spar (A) 7-5 (7-2), 6-0
3) Ross Drlik (L) def. Miranda Wills (A) 6-4, 6-3

1) Blake Webster/Brenton Webster (L) def. Reece Evans/Morgan Swick 6-0, 6-0
2) Carter Earick/Evan Matney (L) def. Gabe Hasan/Dexter Woods 7-6 (7-3), 7-5
Ada is scheduled to host LCC Monday, April 8.
