Come with your little ones and hear a story during Preschool Storytime, which meets every Monday, at 6:30 p.m. These storytimes involves lots of stories, songs, and plenty of fun, while developing early literacy skills.
FrAPL Social and Meeting
Come join the Friends of the Alger Public Library, also known as FrAPL. FrAPL is hosting a Crock Pot Social Fundraiser, where you bring a dish and a donation and enjoy a great night of eating and discussing the book "Amos Fortune, Free Man" by Elizabeth Yates.
FrAPL was formed to help raise needed funds for the Alger Public Library. Over the last few years, state funding for libraries has been reduced dramatically, limiting the hours, resources, and programs the library is able to bring to the community. Involvement with FrAMPL helps provide resources and fundraising to benefit the community, through the library. The next meeting is Tuesday, March 12, 2019 - 7:00 p.m.
