Cleo Williams operated Cleo's Beauty Shop for 35 years in Alger

Cleo Ellen Williams, 95, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 11, 2016, having been blessed with a long life and a large family.

She was born on April 13, 1921, in Dola, Ohio, the oldest of eight children to Emmitt and Floellen (Williams) DeLong who preceded her in death.

All but one of her siblings deceased before her: Marion DeLong and his wife, Marion; Jessie DeLong; Cassie DeLong Bicknell and husband, Arthur, Sr.; Esther DeLong Gilroy and husband, Robert; Hilda DeLong Reffitt and husband, Henry.

In an expansion of Ada Icon coverage, "Weekend" edition debuts. This feature expands the Icons to seven-day continual community coverage by bridging the gap with community information from Saturday through Monday morning.

"Weekend" provides information happening in both Ada and Bluffton each weekend and for the coming week.
