No. 17 men's swimming & diving wins 21st consecutive OAC regular season meet with 150-91 victory at Mount Union

Junior Christian Garlock swept the freestyle sprint events to lead the No. 17-ranked Ohio Northern men's swimming & diving team to a 150-91 victory at Mount Union on Saturday.

The Polar Bears improve to 8-0 overall and are 4-0 in OAC action and extended their OAC regular season winning streak to 21 meets.

The Purple Raiders fall to 6-3, 3-1.

Ohio Northern won 10 of the 13 events in the meet.

Garlock won the 50 free in :22.16 and touched first in the 100 free in :48.25.

Six other Polar Bears won races on the afternoon.

IRS announces annual inflation adjustments for 2013

The Internal Revenue Service announced today annual inflation adjustments for tax year 2013, including the tax rate schedules, and other tax changes from the recently passed American Taxpayer Relief Act of 2012.

Public sale of tickets begins next week for OHSAA State Basketball Tournaments

The date to purchase all-session tickets for both the 2013 OHSAA Boys and Girls State Basketball Tournaments has been moved earlier this year for fans interested in watching some of the best high school basketball in the nation.

All-session tickets for both tournaments will go on sale beginning Tuesday, January 15, at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster or in person at The Ohio State University’s Jerome Schottenstein Center, the site of both state tournaments that take place in March.
