Bulldog Jordan 11th at Kenton Invite

KENTON - The Ada cross country team competed in the sixth annual Kenton Kyle Althauser Memorial Invitational meet Thursday evening at the Hardin County Fairgrounds.
The Bulldog boys finished ninth at the 13-team event, which was won by Columbus Grove with 30 points. Bellefontaine was second (52), while Ada tallied 236 points.
Senior Miguel Jordan paced Ada by finishing a strong 11th amid the 130-runner field in a time of 18:11.56.
Junior Hunter Wells finished 59th overall and second for the Bulldogs in 20:23.18. Classmate Michael Crouse came in 68th with a time of 20:40.5.
Jacob Morgan finished 73rd in 20:50.93. Freshman Riley Ferguson came in 89th with a time of 21:52.7.
Keegan Giddens finished 113th in 23:41.68. Senior Brice Ferguson ended up 126th in 27:29.87.
Johnny Schmiedebusch of Columbus Grove won the boys race in 17:12.21.
Freshman Lauren Mullins turned in the top Lady Bulldog finish, coming in 40th out of 76 runners in 25:38.46. Senior Alexis Ennis came in 53rd with a time of 26:51.98.
Alyssa Ellerbrock of Columbus Grove won the girls race in 19:37.4. Grove won the girls team title with 31 points, while Wapkoneta came in second with 68.
Teams from Ada, Allen East, Bath, Bellefontaine, Celina, Columbus Grove, Hardin Northern, Kenton, Lima Senior, Riverdale, USV, Wapakoneta and Waynesfield-Goshen competed.
