Lori Shannon Dyer, 1969 - 2018
Lori Shannon Dyer, 48, died on Friday, June 22, 2018 at 12:57 p.m. at her home in Ada.
Lori was the loving daughter of Bill and Connie Dyer born on August 7, 1969 at Lima Memorial Hospital. Her father and mother survive in Alger. Other survivors include one son, Chance Dyer; two siblings: Shane (Elaine) Dyer of Gibsonburg and Angel Kindle of Lima. She had several nieces and nephews that she loves dearly: Ashlie (Deric) Legge of Lima, Josh, Jeanne and AJ Dyer of Gibsonburg. She had an amazing friend, Bruce Keller that stood by her side through her journey of life.
Lori was a graduate of Upper Scioto Valley High School in 1987. She liked cooking (Grandma’s noodles and grilled food) but most of all PEPSI. Lori enjoyed the water and helping others. We will remember her smile, her warmth, her energy, and her love for family and friends. She made a difference in the lives of many. She will be missed as a daughter, sister, mother and friend. On a last but serious note, Lori loved life and taught those around her to ‘laugh at the days to come’ is now safely in the arms of Jesus and dancing at the wedding feast of the Lamb.
We invite you to join us and celebrate together. Funeral services will begin at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 27, at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Alger with Pastor Phil Walker officiating. Burial will be in Preston Cemetery, Alger.
Friends may call from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 26, at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Alger and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
