The Inn at Ohio Northern University will hold a law commencement brunch from 9 a.m. to noon on Sunday, May 20. Two reservation times are available: 9 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.

FINDLAY - The Ada track and field teams competed on day one of the Div. III district meet Thursday at Findlay High School.

 

The Bulldog boys are seventh of 15 teams after one day with 10 points. The Lady Bulldogs are 12th. Liberty-Benton is first in both the male and female team standings.

 

Ada senior Logan Williams took sixth in the long jump finals, while junior Noah Mattson came in seventh in the discus finals.

 

The Bulldog boys 4 x 800 relay quartet finished fourth in the finals to make it to the regionals.

 

The top four finishers in an event qualify to the Tiffin regionals May 23/25.

 

The Ada High School Choir will perform at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, May 22, at the school auditorium. At the end of the program, students will receive awards for their year’s of participation in the vocal music program.

The Varsity Singers will perform their Ohio Music Education Association
contest pieces of “O Sifuni Mungu,” “Bright Morning Stars” and “Exultate Domino.”

The Ada Vocal Ensemble will sing "When You Believe,” "Africa" and a
Zulu tribal welcome song.

NAPERVILLE, Ill. — Seniors Matt Molinaro (Sterling Heights, Mich./DeLaSalle) and Samuel Boyd (Killbuck/West Holmes) each competed on day two of the Gregory Invitational hosted by North Central (Ill.) to lead the Ohio Northern men's outdoor track and field team on Thursday afternoon.

No team scores were kept in the meet.

Molinaro paced the duo, winning the 800-meter run in 1:50.91. The senior currently holds the fourth best time nationally following the completion of ONU's regular season.

NAPERVILLE, Ill. — The No. 9-ranked Ohio Northern women's outdoor track and field team capped its regular season with a strong showing at the North Central (Ill.) Gregory Invitational on Thursday afternoon.

Senior Emily Richards (Delaware/Hayes) led the way with a second place finish in the 400-meter dash, finishing in a season-best :56.49 and moving into 19th place nationally in the event.
