Show choirs from 15 high schools competed on Nov. 9 at the 36th annual Ada Music Feast Show Choir Invitational Competition.
Approximately 3,000 people attended the event, which was hosted by the faculty, staff and students of Ada High School, along with the parents, volunteers, and officers of the Ada Music Boosters.
The show choirs, representing schools of various sizes from Ohio, West Virginia, and Indiana, performed throughout the day in hopes of qualifying for the evening “finals competition.”
Several Ada High School athletes were named Northwest Conference "Scholar-Athlete."
To be recognized:
1. The athlete must be a letter winner in the sport.
2. A GPA of 3.0 must be achieved during the grading period of the sport.

Shook Touchstone, a long-time Construction Management joint venture team, has recently been selected to provide Construction Manager at Risk services for Apollo Career Center’s new $52.8 million renovation/addition project.
The project will be co-funded by the state (OFCC) and local share as a Vocational Facilities Assistance Program (VFAP) project. The project also has Locally Funded Initiative (LFI) scope and will include the renovation and reprogramming of the existing Apollo Career Center (including Adult Education and Construction Equipment Office Building) and the construction of new additions.
ReStore Community Center will hold its annual Thanksgiving meal on Tuesday, Nov. 26, and it could use some volunteers and donations.
