Amanda Bennett was given a 7-hour cookie party at the Ada Public Library on Wednesday.
Patrons stopped by throughout the day to wish her well in her new endeavors: directing the Sandwich , Ill., Public Library and a wedding in October.
Amanda has served as library director here. Natalie Walton (right) is head of youth services.
