Ohio Northern University may be the home of the Polar Bears, but there's a certain section of campus where animals with wings and feathers roam. Here's some of those ONU creatures. You'll find them behind The Freed Center.

Daniel A. DiBiasio, president of Ohio Northern University, was named to the board of directors of Liberty National Bank at its May 12 board meeting.

During the annual meeting of the board on April 16, Terry Keiser retired from the Liberty National Bank Board of Directors. Keiser served on the board from April 15, 2004, to April 16, 2015, and was chairman of the board from May 14, 2013, to April 16, 2015.

The Ohio High School Athletic Association has announced the football divisions, playoff regions, statewide composite schedules and additional information for the 714 schools that will compete this fall around Ohio.

Popular author Shelley Shepard Gray will have a book signing at the Ada Public Library at 11 a.m., Saturday, June 13.

Her most recent title is “The Proposal at Siesta Key,” released May 12 of this year.

Since 2000, Shelley has sold over 40 novels to numerous publishers, including HarperCollins, Harlequin, and Abingdon Press.

She has been interviewed by NPR, and her books have been highlighted in numerous publications, including USA Today and The Wall Street Journal.

Under the name Shelley Shepard Gray, Shelley writes Amish romances for HarperCollins’ inspirational line, Avon Inspire.

83rd State District Representative Robert Sprague (R-Findlay) will visit Ada on Thursday, June 11.

He will participate in a super hero-themed storytime for the children at the Ada Public Library at 1 p.m., according to Amanda Bennett, library director.
