Ada Kiwanis Club invites Icon viewers to join this year's Halloween parade. It is Monday, Oct. 24.
PIZZA COOKOFF DETAILS AT BOTTOM -
Line-up is beind the municipal building on Buckeye Street. Registration is at 5:30 p.m. and the parade is at 6 p.m.
Costume categories follow:
• Prettiest
• Scariest
• Most original
Costume judging by age groups:
• Pre-school and Kindergarten
• 1st and 2nd grades
• 3rd and 4th grades
• 5th and 6th grades
• Groups any age and pets
• Adults (most original only)
• Ada HS band
Buy Ada First 2016 Pizza Cook-off
This event is held in conjunction with the Halloween parade. It takes place from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Ada Depot, where Halloween judging will be held.
Local restaurants will enter the pizza of their choice and residents are welcome to taste the pizza and vote on their favorite. The restaurant with the most votes win the 2016 Pizza Cook-off People’s Favorite Choice Award. The winner will be announced around 7:30 p.m.
In addition, the Ada Area Chamber of Commerce will host a Tortilla Pride Contest and History of Ada Trivia Contest at the Ada Depot.
