Girls' soccer: Callahan and Pfeiffer score twice in 8-0 win
Ada girls bomb Lancers

MIDDLE POINT - The Ada girls soccer team scored six first half goals en route to soundly defeating Lincolnview 8-0 in Northwest Conference play Monday evening.
The victory upped the Ada record to 4-8-1 overall and 3-2 in the NWC. The Lancers dropped to 2-10 overall and 2-3 in the NWC with the loss.
Makayla Callahan and Ruth Pfeiffer each netted a pair of goals for the Bulldogs. Ella Poling, Katie Butterfield, McKenzie Long and Gizem Tanriverdi all added a goal apiece.
Callahan, Butterfield, Long and Latifah Bagais each passed out one assist.
Ada fired 17 shots on goal compared to just four by the Lancers. Bulldog keeper Rielyn Castle was credited with four saves in goal.
Ada visits Paulding (2-5, 1-3 NWC) Saturday, October 8 in another league encounter.
