Boxed prepared meals (e.g. Hamburger Helper)
Boxed potatoes
canned carrots
Canned baked beans

Elks Club honors Ada Students as Teens of the Month

Announcements related to April 2-3 storm damage

From Hancock County Sheriff: State Route 81 is closed between Co Rd 115 and Co Rd 125 due to electric lines being in the roadway.

Due to the power outage and no estimated time for restoration, the Alger Public Library will be closed on Thursday, April 3.

Bulldog softball loss at L-B in BVC opener

FINDLAY – The visiting Ada High School softball team lost 7-3 to Liberty-Benton in their inaugural Blanchard Valley Conference opener on a wet Wednesday, April 2.

The scheduled home game was moved from Ada to L-B since the Eagles have a synthetic turf surface.

“We need to get back to doing the small things,” said fourth-year Ada head coach Jeff Bassitt. “We made good contact but couldn’t get anything in the gaps.

“You can’t make seven errors and beat a good team,” he noted.

The Bulldogs were out-hit 10-5 and committed seven costly errors.

Bulldog baseball blanked by Eagles

FINDLAY – The visiting Ada High School baseball team was no-hit in a shortened 15-0 loss at Liberty-Benton in the Blanchard Valley Conference opener on Wednesday evening, April 2. 

The game was scheduled to be at Ada, but was moved to L-B due to wet field conditions. The Eagles have a synthetic turf surface.

L-B authored a 10-run second inning to put the game out of reach early.

The Bulldogs were out-hit 10-0 in the five-inning contest shortened by the 10-run mercy rule.

Ada fell to 1-2 overall and 0-1 in the BVC after the defeat. L-B improved to 3-0 overall and 1-0 in BVC play with the win.

Jam Session returns to Ada Public Library, April 3

From 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 3, the Ada Public Library will host an acoustic jam session.
