Elementary newsletter offers lots of school details for parents
The Ada elementary school newsletter is now on the school website. Here's the newsletter information:
LABOR DAY WEEKEND/HARDIN COUNTY FAIR DAY
There will be no school Sept. 7 in observance of Labor Day and no school Sept. 8 for Hardin County Fair Day.
FAIR DAYS/VACATION DAYS
If your student will be out multiple days for the fair or you have planned a family trip, please contact the Elementary Office. We will then contact the teacher and your student will be given any work they will miss.
STAFF PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT DAY
There will be no school Monday, Sept. 14, for Staff Professional Development.
2 HOUR EARLY RELEASE
There will be a 2-hour early release Sept. 29. K-3 grades will be dismissed at 1:10 p.m. 4-6 grades will be dismissed at 1:30 p.m.
DISMISSAL NOTES
Please send notes with your students for any changes in dismissal. No changes will be taken after 2 p.m.
NOTE FROM THE NURSE
Prescribed and over the counter medications cannot be administered at school without the proper authorization forms.
The forms are available on the school web site or from the school nurse. Only the school nurse may administer the medicine. Please remember that students who have been sick must be fever free for 24 hours before returning to school.
All medications must be hand delivered to the nurse by an adult or guardian.
EMERGENCY MEDICAL FORMS
Please turn in Emergency Medical Form as soon as possible. These forms are critical contact information for the school.
