Whether boot cut, relaxed fit, skinny, slim fit, straight cut, low-rise or whatever, Emmelina Bales collected jeans at Ada High School this winter.
The Ada High School senior jeans collection is part of a “Teens of Jeans” drive. With the drive now over, 144 pair of jeans were collected and delivered to Aeropostale in the Lima Mall - the collection point for the project.

Here's a summary in Emmelina's words:
We finished the drive at school Feb. 10. I held a doughnuts for donators the last day to encourage students to bring in jeans. I went to Sam's and bought 100 doughnuts to hand out to students who have brought in jeans and who brought in Jeans that day.
I also got Aeropostale to donate some store-bought items to give students the chance to enter their names to win (for example if you brought six pairs of jeans you received six raffle tickets).
Overall it went very well and after hours of folding jeans we ended up with 144 pairs of jeans.
We dropped the jeans off at Aeropostale this week after I packed them all up in my car. Everyone was so happy to see that many donations.
Emmaline added: "Our small town of Ada has gotten so many jeans compared to everyone around us. Many schools have participated as well and the most one of the larger schools in the collection project got was around 35.
