1. Red Cross Swimming update from Sandy. 70 Kids have registered (we had to turn away about 20 because Red Cross only allows us to teach 70 and there are issues with pool availability).  The due date is June 23rd. We are running these during the weeks of July 7th and 14th. Normally, Red Cross charges the kids $55 each. We are charging $3.00/student. The lessons will be 11-1. We need additional people to help with paperwork on each of the days and if you are willing to teach swim lessons—no prior swim lesson teaching is required.

2. Ohio District Convention – August 8-10, 2014 in Columbus. Heather has asked Mike Hood to put together and Ada themed basket.

10. Next week’s program will be by: Dr. David Kinder: "What the Anasazi knew and land of the first pueblos" Pictures and experiences working in the four corners area of the U.S.)

Circle K Report: (Circle K Member or Bill Fuller)
No report:  Circle K does not meet during the summer.
Kiwanis Education Minute:
Kiwanis was defined as “an organization for men” in the constitution adopted at the Denver Constitutional Convention in 1924. In 1987, after more than a decade of debate throughout the organization, delegates at the convention in Washington, D.C., voted overwhelmingly to eliminate the gender requirement for membership. Today, about 26 percent of worldwide Kiwanis membership is female.
Something to Ponder:
How come lemon washing up liquid contains real lemons, but lemon juice contains artificial flavorings?
