The Ada summer swim team competed hard against visiting county rival Kenton in a close Western Ohio Aquatic League meet on a cool, overcast Thursday night, June 22, at the municipal pool.
The visiting Stingrays won the overall boys/girls combined meet, 371 points to 316.
The Ada boys won their dual 182-125, while the Alligator girls fell to Kenton by a 246-134 count. (Find complete results HERE.)
Gator Luke Harriger captured first place in five individual events in the 7-8 division to pace the winning boys effort.
Landry Harriger won four individual races in the boys 9-10 bracket.
Gator girl Olivia Agozzino (11-12) came in first in four races.
Ada’s Kyleigh Nau took first in three races of the girls eight and under age group. Her sister Alyssa Nau (13-14) also touched the wall first in three individual races.
Lincoln Harriger (11-12) won three races for the victorious Gator boys. The three Harrigan boys combined for 12 individual first-place finishes.
Adaite Kaitlyn Bowden (15-18) ended up first in two races.
Ada is scheduled to swim at WOAL rival Westside Monday evening, June 26.
