Four speakers at Designing Your Garden seminar

HARDIN COUNTY__This winter’s mild weather and lack of snow might have people thinking if it will soon be time to work in the garden. Spring is around the corner and so is the OSU Extension spring garden seminar. “Designing Your Garden”--a March 7 program offered by the Hardin County OSU Extension Master Gardener Volunteers--will feature four experts. ‘Grow and Use Herbs to Enhance Your Life’ will be presented by Ann E. Boyd. Culinary? Medicinal? Pollinators? Patio containers, raised beds, or full-scale historical gardens, there are many ways to bring herbs into your life. Recipes and reasons, growing tips and tricks, Ann will share useful information to help you fall in love with some of the oldest and most useful plants on the planet. She is the sole proprietor of My Own Backyard Herbs & Flowers - a private garden, studio, and greenhouse in Findlay, Ohio started in 1988. Studying herbs since the age of 19, she welcomes the opportunity to share her experience.

Bulldog girls basketball sunk by Vikings

ADA__The Ada High School girls basketball team fell behind early and lost 48-25 to visiting Leipsic in a Northwest Conference contest on February 8.

Ada Schools kindergarten registration begins March 4

The Ada Exempted Village Schools have announced that kindergarten registration for the 2024-2025 school year will begin on Monday, March 4, 2024 and continue through Friday, March 15, 2024.
