The Ohio Northern men's outdoor track & field team was chosen to finish third in the OAC Outdoor Track & Field poll, in voting conducted by the head coaches of the OAC.
The Polar Bears earned 47 points and also received a first place vote.
Mount Union was chosen to finish first, receiving 63 votes and seven first place votes, John Carroll was second with 53 points and a first place vote and ONU was third.
Mount Union won the OAC Indoor Track & Field Championships, with Northern finishing fifth.
Under fourth year head coach Jason Maus, the Polar Bears have finished third in the last three OAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships.
Ohio Northern will kick off the outdoor portion of its season when it takes part in the Washington & Lee (Va.) Carnival on Friday and Saturday.
