Four Allens in Encore's "The Somewhat True Tale of Robin Hood"

Ada is well-represented at the Encore Theatre's performance of "The Somewhat True Tale of Robin Hood." The four incude William Allen as Robin Hood, Jon Allen as Prince John, Nathan Allen as the Sheriff of Nottingham, and Wes Allen as Allan Adale.

The Allens are the sons of Deb and Patrick Allen, of Ada.

The final performance is at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 15, at Encore, 991 North Shore Drive, Lima.

Here's Interstate 75 south of Findlay as we speak

Tim Schumacher of Bluffton took this photo as he and and his wife, JP, current sit on Interstate 75 (2:05 p.m.) on the southbound lane, two miles south of Findlay. Apparently there is a four-car accident near the rest area on I-75. More photos coming.

Feb. 20 ticket deadline for Hardin alliance dinner meeting at ONU

Tickets are still available for the 9th annual  Hardin County Business Alliance and Chamber dinner. The event is at 6 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 26, at McIntosh Center, Ohio Northern University.

Ohio Supreme Court candidate speaks at Democrat's Presidents' Day lunch in Kenton

Judge John P. O'Donnell, 2016 Democratic candidate for Justice of the Ohio Supreme Court, will be the keynote speaker for the Hardin County Democrats Presidents' Day Luncheon Saturday, Feb. 28, at noon at the Walnut Grove First United Methodist Church north of Kenton on State Route 68.

Judge O'Donnell was first elected to the Cuyahoga County Court of Common Pleas in 2002. He was reelected in 2006 and 2012. The Cuyahoga County Court is one of Ohio's busiest courts. He has presided over scores of jury trials in felony criminal cases and civil lawsuits.
