The Ada Public Library is starting off the new year with some additions to it's growing collections, according to Amanda Bennett, library director.
Along with more new books and DVDs for patrons to borrow, the library has begun a collection of music CDs. Until now, the library did not offer compact discs.
Ms. Bennett told the Icon that she enjoyed picking music across many different genres and added that the library hopes to build a collection that will appeal to a wide range of musical tastes.
There is also a way that Icon viewers can help. To grow the collection, the library is accepting donations of CDs that are in good shape. So, if you've gone digital and don't need your CDs any more, consider bringing them into the library. And maybe borrow some new ones.
