KENTON -- OhioHealth Hardin Memorial Hospital is expanding MRI availability with appointments will be available on two upcoming Saturdays this spring: April 26 and May 3. Beginning on May 19, MRI services will be offered every Monday (except Memorial Day), Tuesday, and Friday, ensuring consistent weekday availability for patients in Hardin County and surrounding areas.
By increasing MRI availability, the hospital aims to reduce scheduling barriers and provide more timely diagnoses for conditions such as orthopedic injuries, neurological disorders, and other medical concerns requiring advanced imaging.
MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) is a vital tool for diagnosing a wide range of health conditions. However, in many rural communities, limited appointment times can delay care. By expanding MRI availability at Hardin Memorial Hospital, patients no longer need to travel long distances or wait extended periods for imaging services.
“We recognize how important it is for our patients to have access to timely, high-quality imaging,” said Jim Whitaker, senior advisor of operations at OhioHealth Hardin Memorial Hospital. “With this expansion, we are ensuring that more patients can receive the diagnostic services they need right here in their own community—without the added stress of long wait times or travel.”
