The Ohio Northern women's basketball program welcomes in OAC foe Capital Saturday afternoon to round out their pre-Christmas home slate for the 2018-19 campaign. Tipoff is set for 3 pm at the ONU Sports a enter. The Polar Bears enter the contest with a 6-1 record and 1-1 mark in the OAC. Northern is fresh off a 75-67 victory over the Wilmington Quakers on Wednesday.
ADA - Rock-solid Kalida methodically wore down the Ada boys basketball team to spoil the Bulldog home opener 56-41 in a hard-fought non-league battle Friday night.
The Bulldogs fell to 0-3 with the defeat, while visiting Kalida improved to 1-1 with the win.
"Give credit to Kalida, they have a good program but I am extremely proud of our guys," said Ada head coach Dre White. "We kept it close and had chances to make it even closer; we just need to convert better on our opportunities.
The Ohio Northern University Symphony and Wind Orchestra will present a concert at 4 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 9 in the Freed Center.
The program will begin with the ONU Wind Orchestra, conducted by Antoine Clark, paying homage to the ceremonial kindling of light during the holidays and the winter solstice.
After intermission, Music Director Travis Jürgens will conduct the Ohio Northern Symphony in a program titled “Tragedy and Triumph.”

The National Headache Foundation reports that 1 in 5 U.S. children ages 5 to 17 are prone to headaches. Fifteen percent of those who are prone have headaches labeled as tension and five percent are diagnosed as migraine.
