Advanced Aesthetician at Beyond MedSpa
In a female-dominated industry, men can also benefit from a variety of services offered in medical spas to help them look and feel better. Self-esteem affects men just as much as women; it has a direct correlation to work productivity as well as the ability to find enjoyment in life-enriching experiences. With an ever-growing and advancing aesthetic industry, many services are able to be completely customized to fit any individual’s needs. Most services leave clients with a natural and refreshed look with minimally or completely non-invasive methods.

For 13 technological studies students, a fall semester project designed to help them learn CAD (computer-aided design) turned into a fun way to showcase their skills and celebrate the holiday season.
Associate professor of technology Feng Jao’s Product Design and Analysis class (TECH 2231) was designed to prepare students to use and create CAD drawings with a software application called Autodesk Inventor. One of their projects involved re-engineering a wooden toy train set using CAD drawings and 3D printing.
As an unexpected surprise, the project received a healthy dose of Christmas cheer, as well.
Pastor and Mrs. Jack Duffy (left) hand out Christmas ornaments while they and other members of the Ada First Baptist Church sing carols at Vancrest on Wednesday evening. A number of churches and organizations will sing carols at the retirement home this season, including Trinity Lutheran Church, Ada United Methodist Church, Riley Creek Church, Ada and McGuffey Churches of Christ, Grace Gospel Church, Not an Ordinary Place, and Noteworthy Community Choir. Ada police, fire, and EMS converged on Ada Schools on Thursday afternoon—not for an emergency but for a fun time.
Representatives of the three departments met students at the school doors at dismissal time. Santa and the Grinch were there, too.
School is out for winter break, which is a happy enough occasion for most students. The greetings and candy canes handed out by the first responders made school dismissal even more exciting.
