FREMONT - Led by junior Klava Katayama, the Ada swim team competed well in the 16-team St. Joseph Invitational meet Saturday, December 15 at the Fremont Ross High School natatorium.
The purple and gold girls finished eighth out of 16 squads, while the Bulldog boys came in 11th out of 15 squads.
Upper Sandusky won both the boys and girls team titles.
"We had a lot of time improvements; the biggest one of the day was (that) Klava broke two of her previous records for the Fremont Invite in the 50 free and 100 fly," said Ada head coach Stephanie McMahon.
Merry Christmas from Ada Icon. Here's the historic Ada depot with its "Don't Let The Light Go Out," banner. "It is Christmas every time you smile at your brother and offer him your hand," Mother Teresa.
Brian Jones of Jones Media, LLC, took these two photos of the Ada water tower at a level most people never see. Can you tell where NFL footballs are made by looking at the tower?

Rod and Linda Dysert have sold 3 Brothers Pizza, 105 S. Main, to Brian and Kelly Clum and will open Wednesday, Jan. 2, under the new name 3 Brothers Family Pizza. The Dyserts will continue to own and keep open the business until the new owners take over the first of the year.
By coincidence, the Dyserts have three sons, hence the name, and the Clums have three sons, so there is very little change in the business name.
