Ada was first to score on a 17 yard pass from senior quarterback Mason Acheson to junior receiver Matt Wilcox with 9:49 remaining in the first. Hunter Waller's PAT was good, making it 7-0, Ada.

After a forced turnover, the Bulldogs resumed on offense and scored again on a pass from Acheson to senior receiver Jacob Ansley, who took the ball 33 yards to pay dirt for Ada's second score. After Waller's successful point after, the score stood at 14-0 with 6:23 to go in the quarter.

Allen East took it into the second quarter on their subsequent 18 play drive, scoring on a run from 4 yards out to make it 14-7 with 9:04 remaining in the half.

The Bulldogs were quick to respond with a score, this time on a first-and-goal run by senior running back Kellen Decker on the 6th play of the drive. Waller's PAT would be good, making it 21-7, with 7:33 left until half.

Decker would score again for Ada before the end of the half on another first-and-goal run, this one with 3:02 remaining in the half. Waller would convert the point after, which gave the Bulldogs a 28-7 lead that would stand for the remainder of the half.

The Mustangs began with the ball to start the second half, and came close to scoring on a 15 play drive that ended on a fumble recovery by Wilcox of Ada on the 17 yard line. However, the Bulldogs would be stuffed three-and-out by the Mustang defense, and, opting to go for it on 4th down, would come up just short of the first, giving the ball back to Allen East deep in Bulldog territory on Ada's 18 yard line.

Six plays later, taking it into the third quarter, the Mustangs would score on a 5 yard run for an Allen East touchdown, which narrowed the score to 28-14 with 10:46 remaining in the game.

The Bulldogs were quick to respond, scoring in 6 plays on the following drive on a pass from Acheson to Decker, who carried the ball 36 yards to the house with 9:12 to go in the fourth quarter. Waller's PAT was good, making it 35-14.

Allen East would come close to scoring again on their next drive -- this one lasting 11 plays and eating up much of the remaining time -- but would ultimately fail to convert on a critical 4th down play, turning the ball over on Ada's 38 yard line.

In three plays, the Bulldogs scored again, this time on a 48 yard carry to pay dirt by senior receiver Micah Roberson off a pass from Acheson.  After Waller's successful point after, the score stood at 42-14, where it would remain until the culmination of play.
