Preparations for holiday lighting at the park underway soon
Imagine this...it is time to start thinking about the holidays. The Ada Area Chamber of Commerce is putting out the word to members to support The Winter Wonderland.
All interested volunteers can help get things started on Saturday morning, Oct. 6, according to Deb Curlis, chamber president.
This year's project managers are Doug Salyer (Grayfeather), Tom Vermillion and George Gulbis. Starting time is 9 a.m. Meet at the building behind the pool. Each Saturday throughout October and November will be decorating time. Opening night will be Saturday, Dec. 1, at 7 p.m. Santa and Mrs. Claus will be arriving at that time.
They committee is in need of heavy duty extension cords. Persons who can donate cords may drop off at the park on Saturday the 6th or contact one of the project managers.
