Several agriculture programs offered in Hardin County in February

Tuesday, Feb. 3 will be the first of four Sheep and Goat Webinar programs being offered at the Hardin County Extension office, in a coordinated effort with the Ohio Sheep Improvement Association.  

Roger A. High, The Ohio State University, will present the first program “The Management Continuum and Success during the Lambing/Kid Time Period” this week, starting at 7 pm.

The Ohio Northern University Freed Center for the Performing Arts and Nationwide Insurance present “Jungle Jack Hanna’s Into the Wild Live” on Saturday, Feb. 8, at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. Take a trip to the wild side and join America’s favorite zookeeper, “Jungle Jack,” as he features many of his favorite animals, fascinating stories and footage from around the world. Taxpayers in Hardin and surrounding counties can find free income tax assistance from Ohio Northern University business and law students through Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA).
